The miniature self-priming water pump has DC 12V, 24V, and cannot be directly connected to 220V AC. It needs a DC power supply, which is equivalent to the function of a transformer. The principle of the DC power supply is: the voltage of the power supply must be consistent with the voltage of the pump, and the current is more than 2 times larger than the nominal current of the pump. If the current of the DC power supply of the micro DC water pump is less than the nominal working current of the pump, there will be a situation where the power of the power supply is not enough and the parameters of the micro pump are not enough (for example, the flow rate and pressure become smaller). As long as the voltage of the DC power supply is the same as that of the pump, even if the current is much larger than the nominal current of the pump, the pump will not burn in this case.
The main parameters of the supporting switching DC stabilized power supply are closely related to the pump output voltage and output current. For the pump to work normally, the output voltage needs to be consistent with the pump's working voltage, for example, both are 12V DC; the output current of the power supply is larger than the nominal working current of the pump. Don't worry about the high current of the power supply, it will burn the pump if it exceeds the nominal working current of the pump. Because the current of the switching power supply, battery or battery is large, it only means that the current capacity that the power supply can provide is large. In actual work, the current provided by the power supply does not always work with the nominal current of the power supply, but depends on the load of the pump; If the load is large, the current that the power supply provides to the pump is large; otherwise, it is small.
In terms of reality: the miniature high-pressure water pump 12V, the volume of the pump is only 225×110×100mm, and the pressure can reach 11 kg. The nominal working current of the pump is ≤10.5A. In actual work, the miniature water pump may work at 8A. The power of 12V7A is not enough; therefore, it should be equipped with 12V12A or more.
